Week 13 & 14 – No looking back

Missed getting a blog done for Week 13.  I thought a great deal about what I would write for the week gone by.  In a sit, it became clear.  This course is about forward movement, growth, improvement, and faith.  Going back to write a Week 13 blog would have been evidence of a lack of faith, and just a bit of that ‘check list’ mentality.  No looking back!

14:29  If you wish harmonious conditions in your life, you must develop an harmonious mental attitude.

The sits this week have been challenging but so rewarding.  Pondering HARMONY resulted in a number of different sits.  One of the changes I have experienced is that it takes me no time to ‘get in the zone’.  I love this place and am fueled by the exercise.

At the beginning of this week, doing the exercise was a bit elementary.  I would think on definitions of words that would fit in HARMONY.  By my second sit, I found myself loosing the ‘zone’ because I was focused on definitions.  The next sit incorporated feeling and emotion that was brought on by the definitions.  I had thought I should just disband the definitions and concentrate on emotions brought on by the definitions.  All was in harmony after a discussion with my guides who reminded me of what feeds Subby.  So, today’s sit was SOOOOO FUN!!!! (Yep! I am a Yellow).  In the zone, submerged in emotions with definitions swirling around, I almost did not come out of the sit.  It really has become my Happy Place.

So, the direction is forward – upward and onward.  On to the next gift manifested by Subby but created by myself…yourself…..ourselves.  Wow!  Unbelievable.  But it is happening!!!!

No looking back.  Today and tomorrow are so full!  Its going to happen!   Sitting, reading, reciting with enthusiasm, shapes, colors, and the wonderful Laws.  It all works together…in harmony.

I can be what I will to be.

I persist.

I win.

As I entered adulthood, I realized I was always someone who just followed the flow of the water. When I married my wonderful husband and began a family, I didn't follow the easy flow as much as I began to aspire to create a world in which my children could thrive. My first move was to home school. From my firstborn's first year of school to my youngest's last year of schooling, I was passionate about home education. To date, all have attended collage for at least 2 years. Two have BAs and one has a Master's Degree. Each is very goal oriented and as much as I would like to take credit, I watched something that was already in each of them develop and mature. The credit is the Creator's. Currently, I live in the Pacific Northwest with my wonderful, supportive husband, Steve.
