my journey to discover the authentic me

Week 7 -It is all swirling around me

The thought has occurred to me that I have not really completely processed previous weeks’ readings, exercises, and concepts.  Am I missing something by continuing on?  Would I better understand this week’s lesson if I had a more solid foundation of the lessons learned the previous weeks.

Then 5 referrals drop in my lap, all ready to take the next step.  Unexpected funds become available.  I find I have completed a workout challenge 25% sooner than planned.  What is going on?  I am embracing it, believing it, and not about to stop working it for a second.

I first observed this ‘effortlessness’ (quoties for Davene)  with the car vacuuming story (Week 6) and it continues…… This evening, returning from Bible Study, I hear this wonderful poem which fit perfectly within.

CLEARING

Do not try to save                                                                                                                                                             the whole world
or do anything grandiose.
Instead, create
a clearing
in the dense forest
of your life
and wait there
patiently,
until the song
that is your life
falls into your own cupped hands
and you recognize and greet it.
Only then will you know
how to give yourself
to this world
so worth of rescue.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        By Martha Postalwaite

I always keep my promises!

I can be what I will to be.

As I entered adulthood, I realized I was always someone who just followed the flow of the water. When I married my wonderful husband and began a family, I didn't follow the easy flow as much as I began to aspire to create a world in which my children could thrive. My first move was to home school. From my firstborn's first year of school to my youngest's last year of schooling, I was passionate about home education. To date, all have attended collage for at least 2 years. Two have BAs and one has a Master's Degree. Each is very goal oriented and as much as I would like to take credit, I watched something that was already in each of them develop and mature. The credit is the Creator's. Currently, I live in the Pacific Northwest with my wonderful, supportive husband, Steve.

  1. I love it Louise! The lesson is that I dont have to act it, all I have to do is hold the image of the result and the means will appear.
